From Isabelle-
“Rachael did the most fantastic job on our wedding day! Even in the months leading up to the wedding date, she has been extremely helpful and flexible with communication and even captured all my “visions” of the perfect day!
I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer for capturing our day! The quality speaks for itself! If anyone needs a great photographer, I highly recommend Rachael! Thank you again so much!”
Isabelle and Michael’s wedding at The Club at Gettysvue is stunning. The day couldn’t have gone any smoother! First, the pair got ready for the day in private dressing rooms at the clubhouse. They also took a moment to write one another beautiful letters, to be opened prior to the ceremony. Isabelle looked downright stunning in a romantic A-line wedding dress. It featured a deep v-neckline, a long train, and was adorned with 3D floral appliques. It even had pockets – because why not? Her groom-to-be looked oh so dapper, in a fitted navy suit and a white dress shirt, with an ivory dress shirt and tie.
Ceremony
As for their lively wedding party, they were a handsome bunch. Isabelle opted for elegant, flowing blush bridesmaid dresses. They carried oversized bouquets featuring fresh Italian Ruscus. What set Isabelle’s bouquet apart was the white roses and peonies, which matched Michael’s boutonniere. His groomsmen were also dressed in navy suits but were pinned with leafy boutonnieres. Of course, we can’t forget their darling junior bridesmaids! They carried gold hoops embellished with fresh florals and wore the cutest spring flower crowns.
This couple was all about capturing the day and made sure we had time for photos – so we got a lot! We took advantage of nearly every part of the venue, from the walkways and greens of the golf course to the stunning interior, including a window-lined wooden staircase. The two had a blast and weren’t afraid to get a little sweaty, going up and down stairways and climbing on the stone railing outside.
The two opted to host their outdoor ceremony on the terrace, overlooking the manicured lawn. The setup was simple but elegant, with a round gold wedding backdrop featuring asymmetrical floral arrangements. It was complemented by oversized florals set on gold geometric stands. Our favorite detail from their ceremony was the unique unity ceremony and the confetti bomb exit. Their guests loved this interactive detail and it made for amazing photographs!
Reception
Following family portraits, they met with guests in the English-style clubhouse. The elegant reception space was decorated with round tables outfitted in classic white linens and tall floral arrangements. A white dance floor was center stage, with a bronze chandelier hanging overhead. Lasty, Isabelle and Michael kicked the party off with their first dances and closed the night with an intimate last dance and a sparkler exit.
We can’t stress how much we loved working with this hilarious pair! By the end of the night, we felt like longtime friends.
