Historic Georgia Wedding Video | The Mill at Yellow River

Catherine and David’s historic Georgia wedding video at The Mill at Yellow River is a true testament to love, resilience, and timeless elegance. Originally set for April 2020, their plans were postponed due to the pandemic—but that only made their celebration more meaningful. From a romantic start at Twelve Oaks to a heartfelt ceremony and reception at The Mill, every moment of this day was cinematic and unforgettable.

Getting Ready at The Twelve Oaks Bed & Breakfast

The day began at The Twelve Oaks Bed & Breakfast, a historic Georgia estate famously known for inspiring the Twelve Oaks mansion in Gone With the Wind. With towering oaks, manicured lawns, and beautiful architecture, it was the perfect backdrop for wedding prep.

Catherine looked breathtaking in her fit-and-flare gown, while David wore a classic navy tux with a blush tie. Their first look, set in front of the main house, was filled with genuine emotion—and we captured it all on film. The entire wedding party looked stunning in soft pinks, mauves, and grays. Thanks to drone footage, we were able to showcase the property and their joyful celebration from every angle.

A Rainy Yet Beautiful Ceremony at The Mill at Yellow River

The couple said “I do” at The Mill at Yellow River, a charming industrial venue rich in character. While the original plan called for an outdoor ceremony, a summer rainstorm brought them inside. Luckily, the staff and family pivoted effortlessly—and the indoor ceremony turned out just as stunning.

Catherine and David exchanged vows under a wooden arbor covered in lush greenery. A soft white tapestry provided contrast against the warm brick walls, creating a cozy and romantic atmosphere. Their historic Georgia wedding wasn’t just visually beautiful—it was full of heartfelt, emotional moments.

A Chic Reception with a View of the Yellow River Falls

Reception details at The Mill were elegant and timeless. White linens, greenery, and soft blooms from Remi McRae’s Floral Design perfectly reflected Catherine’s bouquet.

The couple’s first dance, heartfelt toasts, and cake cutting all took place in front of a stunning balcony view of the Yellow River falls. These cinematic shots helped tell the full story of their day—from stolen glances to full-out laughter. If you’re dreaming of a classic yet industrial wedding setting, The Mill at Yellow River delivers.
