A greenhouse backdrop, soft pastel flowers, and the prettiest afternoon light—Prathyusha and Hari Pavan’s engagement ceremony at West Milford Farm was such a beautiful way to celebrate their next chapter.

A Beautiful Setting at West Milford Farm in Cumming, Georgia

Located in Cumming, Georgia, West Milford Farm has so much character. Its historic buildings, glass greenhouse, and open countryside create a lovely setting for an engagement celebration.

For Prathyusha and Hari Pavan, the greenhouse became a backdrop that tied so much of their gallery together. Weathered wood, brick, pale green doors, and lush ferns added texture without taking attention away from the two of them. It looked just as beautiful in wide portraits showing the building as it did in the closer, quieter moments.

Cream and Burgundy Engagement Portraits

Prathyusha’s flowing cream outfit and Hari Pavan’s burgundy suit looked so beautiful against the greenery. The colors complemented each other while giving their portraits a classic, romantic feel.

We used the greenhouse entrance for a mix of individual portraits and photos together, leaving room for movement along the way. A little twirl, a forehead kiss, and the two of them laughing together made for some of our favorite images.

Their gallery includes both color and black-and-white photographs. The color images highlight the greenery and rich burgundy tones, while the black-and-white portraits bring your attention straight to their expressions.

An Outdoor Engagement Ceremony with Pastel Florals

Their outdoor ceremony setting featured a wooden arbor draped in ivory fabric, with pink, white, and pale blue flowers. Beyond it, the open field and tree line created such a pretty backdrop.

Guests gathered on wooden benches as Prathyusha and Hari Pavan walked into the ceremony space together. With loved ones sharing words and the couple taking turns at the microphone, there were so many reactions to photograph—from big smiles to the attentive faces in the crowd.

Family and group portraits brought everyone together beneath the floral arbor and in front of the greenhouse. The colorful outfits added another beautiful layer to the gallery, especially alongside Prathyusha’s cream ensemble and Hari Pavan’s burgundy suit.

Their cake sat on a wooden barrel beneath the arbor, decorated with delicate flowers and a soft pink bow. Cake cutting and a champagne spray added a playful finish to this part of the celebration—and gave us some very fun moments to capture.

The combination of thoughtful details, relaxed portraits, and time with their loved ones made this engagement ceremony feel personal from beginning to end.
